These terms and conditions apply to all purchases in the Birkegaard Fine Art webshop. By completing a purchase, you accept these terms.
Birkegaard Fine Art reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice. The applicable terms will always be available on the website.
Prices are shown in DKK or your selected checkout currency. How VAT is applied depends on the delivery country you choose:
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery country. The final price is always shown before you complete payment.
We accept the following payment methods:
Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Birkegaard Fine Art does not store your payment information.
Delivery time is normally 3-5 business days within Denmark. For international deliveries, delivery time may vary between 5-20 business days depending on the destination.
You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number when your order is dispatched. All shipments are fully insured.

All artworks are sold with full ownership to the buyer. Upon purchase, the physical ownership of the artwork is transferred to you.
The artist retains the copyright to the artwork in accordance with Danish law. This means the artwork may not be reproduced, copied, or distributed commercially without the artist's written permission.
According to Danish law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from receipt of the item. This only applies to standard items and not custom orders.
To use the right of withdrawal, you must contact us within the deadline and return the product in its original condition and packaging.

If you receive a damaged or faulty product, you must contact us as soon as possible and no later than 14 days from receipt.
In the case of a justified complaint, we will offer replacement, refund, or correction of the error. You must document the error with photos.
The right to complain is valid for 2 years from receipt in accordance with Danish law.
For custom orders where the artwork is made to the customer's specifications, special conditions apply:
Birkegaard Fine Art cannot be held liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, or business losses resulting from the purchase or use of the product.
In case of delivery delays due to force majeure, including natural disasters, war, labor disputes, or similar, Birkegaard Fine Art assumes no liability.

Any disputes should be sought resolved amicably. If this is not possible, you may bring the case before the Consumer Complaints Board or the courts.
These terms and any purchase are subject to Danish law. The venue is Copenhagen.
